Site Map | Gold-Bearing Quartz Veins Here is a small section of some gold-bearing quartz veins (see report elsewhere on this site) I discovered in 1997. At the bottom edge of the photo can be seen a vein that is over 12 " wide at the surface. By following the strike and dip of this exposure, I was able to locate more that are apparently related to these. The rock hammer in the photo is about 14'' long.
